LaTasha Jefferson, FNP
LaTasha Jefferson is a native New Yorker who relocated to Georgia 24 years ago.
She has been diligent in pursuing her nursing career starting out as a home health aide.
LaTasha has completed her Associates degree in Nursing at Georgia Perimeter College, Bachelor degree in Science at Clayton State University, and Master degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Health at Brenau University.
She worked at Emory University Hospital for 5 years on a vascular surgery floor, where she gained a special interest in Nephrology.
She is very passionate with patient education regarding Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and options for treatment in advanced CKD. LaTasha has been involved in many community service organizations including Outreach Inc., an organization that serves the HIV and AIDS population, Ludacris Foundation, giving out toys to needy children, and One Step Counseling Center, performing physical assessments for low socio-economical children with behavioral problems.
Her hobbies include reading and researching wellness prevention and education. She loves to travel and is very passionate about serving her community.
